PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN) through the Risk Management function held a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Workshop at the Elnusa Petrofin Head Office on Tuesday (20/2). This workshop was also attended by the Director of Administration & Finance, Yogi Firdaus, Pjs. Manager Risk Management, Nurul Inrani Auliya, and the Enterprise Risk Management function of PT Elnusa Tbk. represented by SM Enterprise Risk Management, Mira Puspitawati, Strategic & Corporate Risk Management Specialist, Nurlaila Machmud, as well as Risk Owners and Risk Champions from several functions namely Operations, HSSE, SCM, Quality Management, Finance, IT, Communication & Relations, and Technical & Maintenance.
The main objective of this workshop is to introduce and improve the understanding of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) within EPN. BCMS is used as a tool to identify threats and their impact on the achievement of the company’s business objectives. In addition, BCMS provides a framework to maintain business resilience during and after disasters through effective response capabilities.
This workshop discussed the functions of the BCMS, including providing protection to EPN’s employees and assets, providing guidance for organizational planning as a form of preparedness, and restoring continuity to EPN’s critical business processes.
The workshop lasted for one day in a hybrid format. The workshop consisted of three main sessions, namely material presentation on the basic concepts and importance of BCMS, presentation of BCMS designs from two case studies, and Top Table simulation of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to test the company’s response and preparedness.
Through this BCMS Workshop, it is aimed that the company’s awareness and preparedness in facing disaster threats will increase, while business continuity can be maintained effectively.
