Elnusa Petrofin through the Transportation Operations Unit and DPPU in Gorontalo distributed aid for victims affected by the flood disaster that occurred in the city of Gorontalo, Gorontalo Province on Thursday (11/7) through the Petrofin Peduli CSR Program.
Based on data from the Gorontalo City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the flood was triggered by high intensity rain in the Gorontalo city area since July 7, 2024. Some of the villages affected by the flood include Biawaao, Molosipat, Libuo, Talumolo, Ipilo, and Wumialo. The flood submerged the residents’ houses with a height reaching the height of an adult’s waist.
The packages distributed were 10 boxes of instant noodles, 5 crates of eggs, 25 kg of rice, 4 kg of cooking oil, 5 boxes of tea, 5 kg of sugar, and 12 pcs of canned fish. This assistance was received directly by Assistant 1 Regional Secretary of Gorontalo City, Mr. Yusrin Tolinggi. He expressed his appreciation to Elnusa Petrofin for the assistance provided.
Elnusa Petrofin also expresses its condolences for what happened in Gorontalo. Through this Petrofin Tanggap activity, Elnusa Petrofin hopes that the aid logistics provided can help all affected victims.
