One of the fuel oils (BBM) storage and distribution facilities built and managed by PT Elnusa Petrofin, a subsidiary of Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), located in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, namely Fuel Terminal (FT) Indragiri Hilir, successfully conducted Go Live for the first distribution of Pertalite, Pertamax and Bio Solar products from tanks located at the location, on Thursday (14/09). Go Live activities are conducted together with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Go Live for the initial distribution of fuel involved the operational team from Elnusa Petrofin at Fuel Terminal Indragiri Hilir and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. The event was attended by Fuel Terminal Indragiri Hilir Operations Unit Officers, as well as representatives from Fuel Terminal Tembilahan PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Fuel Terminal Indragiri Hilir is one of the assets of operational facilities owned by PT Elnusa Petrofin which is managed by the Joint Operation & Infrastructure Division. Operational activities include Fuel Terminal management and Fleet Management.
The Indragiri Hilir Fuel Terminal facility, which began construction in April 2021, has a total of 6 storage tanks with a storage capacity of 2 x 1,500 KL Pertalite, 2 x 1,500 KL Pertamax and 2x 1,500 KL Bio Solar. “Fuel Terminal Indragiri Hilir operates around 24 units of Tank Cars with a capacity of 16 KL to distribute fuel in around 22 gas stations in the Indragiri Hilir area and the border area of Jambi Province,” said Putiarsa Bagus Wibowo, Manager of Corporate Communication & Relations of Elnusa Petrofin.
Go Live Initial Fuel Distribution is carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Operational Governance (TKO) of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. All operational stages are carried out strictly, including monitoring fuel stock resilience, maintaining product quality, ensuring reliability in terms of Health, Safety, Security, Environment (K3L), and the readiness of the Tank Car fleet operational facilities before the fuel is distributed to public filling stations (SPBU) in the Indragiri Hilir area.
“With the operation of Fuel Terminal Indragiri Hilir, Elnusa Petrofin is ready to ensure the availability of fuel in the Riau region, as well as meeting strict standard operating procedures and governance,” added Putiarsa.
