Starting its strategic steps in 2025, PT Elnusa Petrofin, a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (IDX: ELSA), continues to expand its contribution in maintaining national energy security. Through the distribution of Industrial Fuel Oil (BBM) at three vital points, namely: Fuel Terminal (FT) Sintang, Jobber Sanggau, and Integrated Terminal (IT) Pontianak. Elnusa Petrofin directly supports the operation of the Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) managed by PLN Nusantara Power Kapuas Generating Unit which began in early 2025.
This initiative is also a continuation of Elnusa Petrofin’s success in similar projects at PLTD Tambak Lorok since 2022 and most recently at PLTD Arun, Aceh in 2024 which proved to be able to provide reliable and sustainable energy solutions. Industrial fuel distribution in West Kalimantan is earmarked for PLTD Sidomulyo, PLTD Sawai, PLTD Menyurai, and PLTD Sei Wie, which play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability of electricity supply in the region.

More than just supporting power plant operations, this distribution also represents Elnusa Petrofin’s active role in supporting the national energy downstream agenda. By ensuring the availability of energy for the industrial sector and communities in the region, the company directly contributes to driving local economic growth and smooth business activities in West Kalimantan.
President Director of PT Elnusa Petrofin, Doni Indrawan, affirmed the company’s commitment to national energy security and the government’s energy downstream. “National energy security cannot be separated from efforts to ensure energy is evenly distributed throughout the country. Through projects such as our previous projects at PLTD Arun and PLTD Tambak Lorok, as well as the distribution of Industrial Fuel in West Kalimantan, we support downstream energy that can strengthen the local economy, ensure energy supply security, and support the competitiveness of the industrial sector in the region,” said Doni.

Doni also added, “We are committed to providing reliable energy supply, but also supporting the government’s downstream agenda by paying attention to sustainability, efficiency, and equitable distribution of energy throughout Indonesia. Our strategic move in West Kalimantan is part of our effort to strengthen national energy security and keep the industrial sector moving forward, supporting the local economy and creating new jobs.”
In the distribution process, Elnusa Petrofin always upholds HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) principles. All distribution stages are carried out with strict operational standards to maintain fuel quality, personnel safety, and environmental sustainability.

This strategic step is an affirmation of Elnusa Petrofin’s role as a reliable partner in the growing national energy ecosystem. The company continues to be present to answer future energy challenges with reliable, adaptive, and sustainability-oriented solutions.
