Committed to Strengthening HSSE Culture, Elnusa Petrofin Receives ‘Excellent’ Award in Indonesia Best Companies in HSE Implementation 2025

PT Elnusa Petrofin once again proved its commitment in implementing work safety standards by winning the Indonesia Best Companies in HSE Implementation 2025 award in the Excellent category from SWA Media Group. The award was presented directly to Palka Adripta, Senior Manager HSSE of PT Elnusa Petrofin, in an event held in Jakarta on Wednesday, 19 March 2025.

The award is given to companies that demonstrate superior performance in the implementation of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) and effectively implement the Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) system. As part of national regulations, the implementation of OHS has been regulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 50 Year 2012 (Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 50 Tahun 2012), which requires every company to implement an HSSE Management System (SMK3) in order to create a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.

With an HSE Management System-based approach, which includes ISO 45001, SUPREME, SMKTD and SMK PAU, Elnusa Petrofin ensures that every business process not only runs according to regulations, but also contributes to increasing productivity and industrial competitiveness. In addition, the Company continues to develop innovations, including the digitisation of real-time safety monitoring systems, as well as organising various ongoing training programmes for workers and partners to increase awareness and compliance with HSSE aspects.

In this award event, SWA Media Group presents a number of independent experts and SMK3 practitioners as the jury, including Dr. Ir. Arief Safari, MBA, Member of the BPKN 2020-2023 Research and Development Commission, Winardo Mardanus, K3 Expert and President Director of PT Garda Integra Solusindo, Dr. Ir. Rudiyanto, Dip. ISM, MIIRSM, MBA, President Director of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia, and Prof. Dra. Fatma Lestari, MSi., Ph.D, Head of the Disaster Risk Reduction Centre of the University of Indonesia.

The assessment in this award focuses on seven main aspects that become assessment indicators, namely leadership, strategy, stakeholders, workers, operations, results, and measurement. Based on a thorough evaluation of these aspects, the plenary jury then determined the award recipient companies with the title Excellent for companies with scores ≥90, Very Good for scores 80 – <90, and Good for scores 70 – <80.

With this achievement, Elnusa Petrofin further strengthens its position in the energy and logistics sector. Going forward, the Company is committed to continuously improving the quality of HSSE implementation, developing innovations in the field of work safety, and building a safer, healthier, and more sustainable work culture to support business growth oriented towards operational excellence and concern for workforce safety.
