PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN), a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk under Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding, has been honored with an award at the 2025 Nusantara CSR Awards organized by the La Tofi School of Social Responsibility. The award was given in the category of Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and presented on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta.
This recognition represents the appreciation of the La Tofi School of Social Responsibility for 70 programs from 39 companies that have consistently implemented CSR not merely as an obligation, but as a transformative force aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
La Tofi, Chairman of the School of Social Responsibility, stated, “Through the 2025 Nusantara CSR Awards, we are presented with a variety of grounded, impactful, and hopeful best practices. CSR is not just a program—it is a shared promise for a better future.”
This award specifically acknowledges the success of the TANGKI Program (Teman Akselerasi Naik Kelas UMKM Petrofin), a part of the Petrofin Peduli pillar through the #PetrofinPintar initiative. The program is designed to empower communities within Elnusa Petrofin’s operational areas, particularly the families of Tank Truck Operators (AMT). Activities include entrepreneurship training, technical mentoring, market development, and the promotion of local products as company-branded souvenirs.
The program has been implemented in various regions, including Jambi, Samarinda, Jayapura, Pare-Pare, and Gorontalo. One notable success story comes from Mesari VCO MSME in Antiga Village, Karangasem Regency, Bali. Since 2021, this group has received training and production equipment assistance, enabling them to independently produce premium Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), thereby contributing to the local economy.
In Samarinda, the TANGKI program also empowers the wives of AMT personnel to run catering businesses, aiming to boost family income while strengthening social cohesion and engagement among AMT families.
This award stands as concrete evidence of Elnusa Petrofin’s commitment to supporting sustainable development through impactful CSR programs. With this recognition, Elnusa Petrofin reaffirms its commitment to continue delivering adaptive and sustainable CSR initiatives that not only improve community welfare, but also enhance the company’s active role in achieving national and global development targets—particularly SDG Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
