Elnusa Petrofin (EPN) together with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Region MOR VIII held a Go Live Project for the Management of Fuel Oil (BBM) Transportation to MOR VIII Air Multimodal Non-Regular Gas Station Distribution Institution at the Distribution Institution (LP) Puncak Jaya Mulia, Papua on (11/5). This project is a clear proof of ONE PERTAMINA’s synergy in developing access and distribution of fuel to 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) areas and supporting the Government’s One Price BBM program.
In this project, Elnusa Petrofin received the mandate to distribute Pertalite and Solar fuel types. The fuel distribution process is carried out using a Cessna 208 EX aircraft, which is capable of carrying up to 1.2 KL of fuel for one trip. Petralite is packed in 60 Liter drums, while Solar is packed in 200 Liter drums. The project involved 3 distribution points that required fuel supply, including the Puncak Jaya Mulia Distribution Point.
The success of this project confirms Elnusa Petrofin’s important role in supporting the One Price BBM program and fuel transportation management in the 3T region, especially in Eastern Indonesia such as Maluku & Papua. This is one of the important milestones for Elnusa Petrofin which previously successfully managed fuel transportation in Krayan, Kalimantan in 2017.
The Go Live was also attended by the Regent of Puncak Jaya, DR. H Tumiran S.Sos M.AP and the Retail Sales Manager of PPN MOR VIII, Mr. Drestanto Nandhiwardana. In his speech, the Regent of Puncak Jaya appreciated the Central Government, Pertamina Patra Niaga, and Elnusa Petrofin for the presence of One Price BBM in Puncak Jaya, Papua. Mr. Drestanto, on his occasion, emphasized Pertamina Group’s commitment to maintain the smooth distribution of One Price BBM to Puncak Jaya Papua, to support the community in their activities.
Through the ONE PERTAMINA synergy, Elnusa Petrofin hopes to continue to make a real contribution in strengthening national energy security and improving the welfare of the community, especially in remote and isolated areas that often face challenges in access to fuel by upholding Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in every operation.
